Bring Your Own Device (BYOD)

A district policy has been passed that allows students to bring electronic devices (i.e. laptops, tablets, smartphones etc.) to school to use for educational purposes.

Currently BYOD(Bring Your Own Device) is in effect at Baraboo High School and Jack Young Middle School.  Some classrooms in our elementary grades are also participating.  Please see your child's teacher to see if they are utilizing personal electronic resources in their respective classrooms.

Use this page for access to all of your BYOD(Bring Your Own Device) documents and questions.  Please contact Matt Pelland (Instructional Technology Director) if you have any questions regarding this new initiative.

Please watch the video below.  This will give you and your students a good understanding of BYOD in our school district.
