9/3: You will receive a blank folder that you will keep in the classroom. It is where you will keep any finished writing assignments that we do in class. Over the school year, you will continue to add writing samples so your will have a collection of your work at the end of the year. It is important to keep writing pieces in it because it will be part of a final exam at the end of the school year. Although that is a long way away, the goal is to show the progress you have made throughout the year with your writing skills. Your assignment is to decorate one side of your folder. Show me what is important to you through your own drawings, magazine pictures or words that tell me something about you. Some examples will be shown in class. This assignment is due Wednesday, 9/9.
