Students will learn the word pyramid in class. We will start with a simple sentence: The dog ran. Then using the pyramid, we will develop a descriptive sentence. As an assignment, students will develop the following sentences into descriptive ones using the word pyramid.
1. The fish swam.
2. The boy won.
3. The girl walked.
4. The baby cried.
5. The show started.
6. The letter was sent.
7. The assignment was given.
8. The children were lost.
9. The store was closed.
10. The airplane left.

Now come up with five of your own simple sentences and do the same as above.
OR Choose one of the sentences you developed from 1-10, and write a good paragraph describing further on what you started.
