Kangaroo Visits Classroom
The Timbavati Wildlife Park of Wisconsin Dells visited the GLW kindergarten students in Ms. Nelson’s and Mrs. Gulden’s classes on Jan. 19th.
The presenter brought a baby kangaroo named Jasmine for the students to observe. As the kangaroo hopped across the classroom, the presenter noted differences in the way a kangaroo moves compared to the way a person moves and the way the kangaroo uses its tail for balance while hopping and standing still.
The students were delighted at the opportunity to pet the baby kangaroo.
