Jack Young Middle School Home

Welcome to Jack Young Middle School, where every day is a great day to learn!  At JYMS, every student belongs to a house and to a (TA) Teacher Advisory Group made up of students from all three grades.  Students in each house share the same teachers and have their core classes together along with required Encore classes like Health and Physical Education.  In addition to their core classes, students may also choose from several elective courses to round out their schedule.  These exploratory classes include Computer Science, Art, Band, Choir, General Music, Foreign Language, and Technology Education.

Notice to Parents of JYMS 6th grade students On Thursday March 19th and Friday March 20th, the Sauk County Public Health Department Seal-a-Smile Program staff will be a Jack Young Middle School to provide dental sealants to sixth grade students. Please watch for a packet of information and a permission form to come home with your child during the week of February 9th. If you are interested in having your child participate in this FREE program, please complete the permission form and ask them to return the signed form to the JYMS office by Friday February 20th. If you have questions, please feel free to contact Diana Cone RN at 355-3944. Thank You!
