West Kindergarten Center is located between downtown Baraboo and Ochsner Park. Its parents praise its small size and family atmosphere. Parents are encouraged to help at school or at home as often as possible. Two to four parents from each room do volunteer weekly to help students with work or extra projects. Due to our wonderful location, we are able to walk to many fine community and government facilities and learn from them first hand. We experience different habitats through making examples of them within our classrooms. We promote cultural and career awareness through resource people from the community, field trips, plays, reports, and projects.
