Welcome to Baraboo School District's Exciting 4-Year-Old Kindergarten (4K) Program! We are thrilled to offer a full-day 4K program, enriching the educational experience for our District residents. At Baraboo Schools, our 4K curriculum is designed to cultivate the development of the whole child, fostering crucial social and emotional capabilities, literacy, and math skills.

Beyond the academic benefits, joining our 4K program provides families with the chance to become integral members of our vibrant elementary school community. New to Baraboo - (Click to Register)

If your family is new to our district, or you are enrolling your four-year-old in kindergarten (4K) through the Baraboo 4K, you can start the registration one of two ways.

Register Online - Go to Baraboo’s Online Registration site and follow the process listed on the page. (Don’t use this link if you already have students attending the Baraboo School District. Use the Parent Portal link above as this method will not require you to re-enter your information. Returning parents will just need to verify their current information).
Register in Person - Please call the District Registrar at (608) 355-3955 to schedule an appointment if you are unable to complete the registration online.

Please provide picture proof of Birth Certificate AND Residency at the time of registration. These forms can be uploaded electronically or provided in person at the Baraboo School District Administration building (423 Linn St, Baraboo).

If you are requesting a school change for your private school student (St. John's, St. Joseph's, or Community Christian), please call the District Registrar Andrea Romero at (608) 355-3955.
