Colleen Pariso is honored to serve as the principal of Gordon L. Willson Elementary School. She is committed to building a school community where every student feels known, valued, supported, and inspired to grow.

This year marks Colleen’s 15th year in education. She began her career as a middle school teacher in the Beaver Dam Unified School District before spending the past six years serving in administration in the Berlin Area School District. Throughout her career as an educator, coach, mentor, and administrator, Colleen has been guided by a strong belief in the power of relationships, communication, collaboration, high expectations, and continuous improvement.

In 2026, Colleen was recognized by the Wisconsin Association of School Councils as its Administrator of the Year for her leadership and commitment to fostering a positive and supportive school culture.

Colleen believes every child deserves to feel a sense of belonging, be challenged to reach their potential, and know they are cared for. She looks forward to partnering with students, staff, and families to create an environment where everyone is engaged, inspired, and continually growing at GLW.
