I am thrilled to begin this new chapter as Principal of West Elementary and 4K! This year marks my 27th year in public education, and working with our youngest learners feels especially meaningful to me. Before attending graduate school, I began my career as a lead teacher at Head Start, so returning to work with children ages 4–6 feels a little like coming home.

I believe every child deserves to feel known, valued, safe, and capable of success. I am committed to building strong relationships with students, families, and staff; leading with high expectations and deep compassion; and creating a school community where every child feels a true sense of belonging. My goal is to help make West Elementary and 4K a place where children experience joyful learning and are encouraged to explore, grow, and discover all they are capable of.

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, running, playing with my dog, Ada, and traveling with my husband, Brad.

I am excited to get to know our students and families and look forward to all the exploring, learning, growing, and celebrating we will do together!
