Baraboo's annual Homecoming week is filled with school spirit and community events! From September 29th through October 3rd, East Elementary students can participate in daily dress-up days to show their support. The week culminates with the Baraboo High School Homecoming parade.

East Homecoming Dress Up Days

  • Monday, September 29th: Kick off the week with Comfy Day. Wear your comfiest clothes, athletic wear, or even your pajamas!

  • Tuesday, September 30th: It's time for Tie Dye or Neon Day. Get creative with bright colors, neon gear, or tie-dye.

  • Wednesday, October 1st: Embrace the quirky with Wild Wednesday. Wear mixed patterns, clothes inside out, backward, or style some crazy hair! This is a full day of school with dismissal at 2:55 pm and 3:00 pm.

  • Thursday, October 2nd: Show your pride on Favorite Day. Dress in your favorite team's apparel, a favorite shirt, or anything that represents you.

  • Friday, October 3rd: The week ends with On Wisconsin! Show your Badger State pride by wearing gear from the Baraboo Thunderbirds, East School Panthers, or professional Wisconsin teams like the Packers, Brewers, or Bucks. Friday is an early release day, with dismissal at 12:55 pm and 1:00 pm.

High School Homecoming Parade and Game

The excitement continues on Friday, October 3rd, with the Homecoming Parade through downtown Baraboo, starting at 3:30 pm. The parade will feature sports teams, the marching band, and the Homecoming Court, so be sure to find a spot to cheer them on! All students in the Baraboo School District will have an early release day, similar to a Wednesday schedule, so everyone can participate in or watch the parade.

After the parade, head over to Flambeau Field, where gates will open at 6:00 p.m. to cheer on the Baraboo Thunderbirds as they take on Holmen at 7:00 p.m.
