Welcome to the Baraboo School District Summer School opportunities page. We have in-person opportunities June 19th through July 13th.

Summer School Transportation Group Pick-up/Drop-off Sites:

  • Community Center-105 Maple St., North Freedom

  • Gordon L. Willson Elementary School (GLW) - 146 Berkley Blvd., Baraboo

  • East Elementary School - 815 6th St., Baraboo

  • House of Wellness Fitness Center - bus shelter at the corner of Decorah and Decorah Rd. 

  • Skate Park Parking Lot - 217 South Blvd., Baraboo

  • Blackhawk Manor (4 pickups) - Mailboxes by the front entrance, mailboxes by 400 lot number, water tower mailboxes and mailboxes by the fare back lot.

  • Silver Drive Neighborhood - Parkside Ave. and Silver Drive Intersection

Registration for 2023 Summer School programs will open March 8, 2023.

Summer Meal Program

Al Behrman Elementary School: Free Breakfast available Monday-Thursday from 7:30-8am. Free lunch available from 11:30am-12:30pm Monday-Thursday.

Baraboo High School: Free breakfast available Monday-Thursday from 7:00am - 8:30am. Free lunch will be available from 11:30am - 12:30pm Monday-Thursday. 

Elementary Summer School

Explore a variety of enrichment learning options that encourage curiosity and continuous academic growth. Discover the fascinating worlds of Greek and Roman mythology, explore space and ocean habitats,  make art, and so much more!

Dates: June 19th - July 13th (Not including July 3rd or 4th)
Time: 8:00 a.m to 11:30 a.m.

Middle School Summer School

Embark on a project-based learning adventure! Middle schoolers will be building their language arts, math, science, and social studies skills through engaging projects. Themed weekly lessons build academic skills and incorporate a community walking trip!

Dates: June 19th - July 13th (Not including July 3rd or 4th)
Time: 8:00 a.m to 11:30 a.m.

Baraboo High School Summer School

Summer School provides Baraboo High School students the opportunity to earn missing credits in English or Math before the start of the next school year. Student eligibility for Summer School enrollment is based upon assessment data criteria and teacher referral and is subject to guidance counselor approval.

Dates: June 19th - July 13th (Not including July 3rd or 4th)
Time: 8:00 a.m to 11:30 a.m. Specific session time depends on the subject area..

Summer Strength & Conditioning

The Baraboo Summer Strength and Conditioning program is designed for all athletes to improve their strength, speed, agility, power, flexibility, and balance.  The class is not established to be sport specific.  Instead, progressive strength, speed, and agility will be stressed to help prepare athletes for all sports - or to improve the physical skills of any student.  The instructors will reinforce proper the proper technique in a motivating environment to enhance the experience of each athlete.  

Sessions are conducted Monday -Thursday from June 14th to July 20th.
