JACK YOUNG MIDDLE SCHOOL ATHLETICS
Jack Young MS Athletics is available to all students, including homeschool and private school students, in the appropriate grade level who live within the boundaries of the School District of Baraboo.
Mandatory Parent Meetings
There will be a mandatory parent meeting for Grades 6-8 Boys/Girls Wrestling and Grades 7-8 Boys Basketball on Monday October 21, 2024 at 7:00 pm via Zoom.

Please Note, JYMS 7th/8th Grade Girls Basketball is in January. There will be a separate registration document and parent meeting for that season, which will be shared in December.
In order to participate in the first day of practice the following three items must be completed:
1. Physicals
WIAA Physical Form - physicals taken on or after April 1, 2023 are valid for the current school year.
If you are in need of a physical there is an option to have a WIAA physical at Wilz Drug Free Clinic in Portage. No appointment is needed, but you MUST bring the WIAA physical form with you.
2. Online Registration
Registration is now open online. You must register online in the Parent Portal in Infinite Campus prior to the parents meeting. Log on as a parent, and click “School Store” on the left. Private school and homeschooled students need an Infinite Campus account to register, and pay the athletics fee. Please contact Lisa Scrabeck at lscrabeck@barabooschools.net for assistance with the registration process.
3. Sports Participation Fees
Upon registering for a sport you may pay the fees online, or at the district office with cash or a check made payable to Jack Young Middle School.
Communication
Jack Young MS Athletics uses Remind to communicate directly with parents. If you have a smartphone, you are strongly encouraged to sign up to receive timely and important information via text or email. You can sign up for an account at Remind.com or download the Remind app. This is how coaches will communicate with parents. Click here for instructions regarding how to register, how to download the app onto your phone, and how to join a sports page. Another way to join is to use your phone to text the corresponding code below to the number 81010.

Para participar en el primer día de práctica se deben completar los siguientes tres ítems:
Examen Fisico WIAA Physical Form
Los exámenes físicos realizados a partir del 1 de abril de 2022 son válidos para el año escolar actual.
Si necesita un examen físico, existe la opción de realizarse un examen físico WIAA en la Clínica Gratuita Wilz Drug en Portage. No es necesaria una cita, pero DEBE traer el formulario físico de WIAA.
Registro en Línea
La inscripción ya está abierta en línea. Debe registrarse en línea en el Portal de Padres en Infinite Campus antes de la reunión de padres. Inicie sesión como padre y haga clic en "School Store" a la izquierda. Los estudiantes de escuelas privadas y educados en el hogar necesitan una cuenta de Infinite Campus para registrarse y pagar la tarifa deportiva. Tarifa de Participación
